Norman Ackerman Stereoview Collection

This collection contains an assortment of stereoview cards published by Keystone View Company. Japanese Women's Contemporary Artist Zines

Collection of 124 zines, all created by young female Japanese artists. These publications represent the entire output of the "Feminine" show - an exhibition of zines curated by Tokyo store Zine's Mate, presented exclusively at the 2011 New York Art Book Fair. This collection reflects an important trend in underground print publishing among young women in Japan, and captures the zeitgeist of an exploding cultural phenomenon.

The collection contains 35mm photographic travel slides and international fashion magazine clippings by photo-journalist Elisa Leonelli. The slides cover a wide range of subjects and geographic locations, including extensive coverage of the Los Angeles 1984 Olympics. The fashion magazines are from a variety of countries, predominantly Italy, and include celebrity photographs and interviews.
